A powerhouse tax and personal finance professional for over twenty years, Buffie demystifies the daunting world of taxes, personal finance, and small business management with skilled, practical, and sassy guidance. Buffie recently made her television debut on the “The Partner” on CNBC. She was chosen out of 20,000 applicants to be part of the top ten in the nation to compete to be serial entrepreneur and star of CNBC’s “The Profit” host, Marcus Lemonis’ business partner. Buffie finished the competition as part of the Top Four. Buffie joined the ladies of “Bravo’s Married to Medicine” Season 7 as a friend of Dr. Simone Whitmore. You can catch “Married to Medicine” on Bravo Sundays at 9/8c.

Buffie is a serial entrepreneur and is the Founder and Managing Member of Buffie, LLC; a small business management firm; Buffie the Tax Heiress, a tax and accounting practice; The Creative Artist Group, a business management and concierge service for busy film and tv creatives; Crawl Before You Ball, a personal and business financial management company; and Just Being Buffie Productions, a 100% woman-owned production company based in Atlanta, Georgia. Buffie is also a highly sought after tax, personal finance, and small business expert seen on local Atlanta and national media outlets.

Buffie is happily married to Dr. David Purselle
and is a fur Mom to Louie & Prada.

Buffie’s Grandmother and Mother taught her early on about the importance of serving your family, your community, your customers, and your employees. Buffie’s Grandmother had ten children. She started several businesses to ensure that all of her children and people in her community had the opportunity to have jobs for which they could be proud. Buffie has continued this family legacy with her businesses.

Her philanthropic endeavors include being on the Board of Directors for Iyai+. Iyai+ is a nonprofit founded by Dr. Beverly Scott.

Iyai+’s vision is to inspire, motivate and develop today’s youth to become tomorrow’s American infrastructure leaders, skilled workforce and innovators — creating both workforce and business opportunities — that build and sustain a world-class, 21st-century infrastructure that will improve outcomes for all Americans. Paying special attention to attracting and including historically underutilized youth.

Buffie is also a member of the board of directors for The Puerto Rican Princess foundation. PRPF was founded by entertainer and reality TV star, Joseline Hernandez. PRPF is a non-profit that is dedicated to the long-term relief and sustainability of the economy of Puerto Rico.

Buffie and her husband, Dr. David Purselle, are committed to serving their communities. The Purselles recently surprised the senior TRANSTEM graduates of Cardozo High School in our nation’s capital. They provided all of the graduates with laptop computers to help them begin their college careers. The Purselles are committed to provide laptops to graduates of the TRANSTEM Academy each year who meet the requirements for the scholarship.

The Purselle’s are also working on opening a free medical clinic in Puerto Rico. They are also partnering with Iyai+ to open a school in Puerto Rico and bring vocational education back to our nation’s schools.
